Lucas mapping out his zoology work on the white board.
After doing some matching work and reading through the fact cards, he listed 2 facts about each Phylum, based on the unique characteristics of that Phylum.

Snowshoeing at Seymour

Lucas and Olivia went on a snowshoe fieldtrip with Lochiel.  Our group shoed around Flower Lake and learned about the adaptations of the animals that live on the mountain.  We saw tracks from the snowshoe hare.  Our guide, Leif, has a package with the essentials for survival and we looked at everything and talked about safety on the mountain.
